Whitney + Daniella bring you Yoga + Essential Oils

Coming into the spring season, this workshop will focus on detoxification. With Whitney, we’ll work directly with the liver and gallbladder organ systems of the body, (based on the wood element from Traditional Chinese Medicine,) and explore how vitalizing the meridian pathways and optimizing chi flow through the energetic system influences our physical, psychological, emotional & spiritual well-being.

Daniella will educate on how essential oils work on a cellular level in our bodies, which specific oils best support cleansing within our bodies, and how they can be used to support the liver and gallbladder. With Daniella's guidance, the class will learn how to identify negative feelings of anger and replace them with feelings of compassion. Together, we will learn about the power of our sense of smell, and how aromatics encourage our bodies to heal and detox naturally. 

The flow of the workshop will begin with a 30-minute discussion (approximately), followed by a 15-minute oil roller making tutorial (for you to take home,) and conclude with a 30-minute Yin practice specific to the liver & gallbladder, which will incorporate the use of oils & affirmations. You’ll leave with tools for ongoing cleansing for your body, mind, and spirit.  All levels and abilities welcome! Bring a mat & wear comfy clothes. Space is limited - be sure to pre-register ASAP!

YIN YOGA + THE WOOD ELEMENT

Coming into the spring season, this workshop will work with the Wood Element (of the FiveElement Meridian System of Traditional Chinese Medicine) and focus on detoxification. 

We'll work directly with the liver and gallbladder organ systems and explore how vitalizing the meridian pathways and optimizing chi flow through the energetic system influences our physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Workshop will include a 90-minute calming yin practice , which will incorporate the use of affirmations and a 30-minute discussion. All levels and abilities welcome!
